CALENDAR REVIEW
– Current standard calendar: Fighter practice occurs every Sunday, at 2pm unless G&G.  A&S generally attends and brings projects.  1st Sunday of month = business meeting at fighter practice.   2nd Sunday of month = Grub & Garb – 1pm.

DETAILED EVENT DISCUSSION
-SATURDAY IN THE PARK, VALP.  Contact: Thomas.  April 28, 2007, Heritage Park outside the Museum, Valparaiso.
Thomas: 45 minute stagetime (more than any other group).  Thomas organizing pavilion set up as medieval ‘encampment’ with sword demo, fiber demo, and craft sales booth.  Seeking fighter participation, Greet already agreed to demo.
Greet: Coordinating fundraiser crafts to sell; beaded bookmarks already created, see here.  Any other ideas, talk to me.  (Lavena had great ideas, see addition to same link.)

-ALSO: Thomas: Heritage Museum seeking ongoing relationship with Shire; desirous of Medieval Festival Saturday before Halloween (Oct 27) for which we would be the cast.  Group: Positive reaction.

-SHIRE EVENT RESCHEDULED/PENNSIC PITY PARTY? Geoffrey: Lots of positive feedback on this idea when noised about to neighboring groups.  Shire reaction: Positive.  Suggestion: Hold indoors, since Pennsic early this year (July 27-Aug 12, 2007).

SUPPORT OF ARENAL – Suggestion to support Arenal’s events, since they’ve been supportive of us; ESPECIALLY Crown List (May 5).  Reminder that Phoenix Glade is providing Traveler’s Fare on Friday night, and Fundraiser’s Lunch (to benefit PG only, not Kingdom) on Saturday.  Suggestion: Have a Sweets Table, with fudge, tarts, etc., as a fundraiser.
