All of these went into 3 72-plug trays and 3-48-plug trays, and are now sitting outside on top of the leaf mulch, since it’s raining today. I made clever little tags for them by cutting up milk jugs, and now I’m all ready to see magic.
That meter thingy is supposed to measure soil fertility, dampness, light, and pH. So far, I’ve learned that everywhere needs more fertilizer – even the commercial potting soil that SUPPOSEDLY already has fertilizer in it. And that none of my yard is very acid – it’s all either neutral or alkaline, so it’s a good thing I collected extra leaves this year.
