Bit of housekeeping

You may have noticed that I’ve made some changes around here.

As I post more pictures, the 500px center column format was impractical.  Furthermore, I’m getting better at organizing my projects around themes, rather than dabbling here and there.  So I’ve subdivided the Garb Construction category according to the times/cultures that I’m making.

I’ve also started a permanent Page for each set of Garb, which will replace the Greet’s Garb Photo Album.  The Finished Fuzzy Things Album is temporarily disappearing, until I figure out what to do with it.  Email me if you can’t find something.  I’ve also disabled Greet’s Bookshelf – which will be replaced with a permanent Library Page.  Ditto with the shopping links, and the Interesting Medieval Places – I want to notate these more than TypePad would let me do, so each of those will get a Page.

I hope these changes will be more useful than the previous organization, since now you will be able to bookmark a Page’s URL, rather than a post, and I will take responsibility for updating the Page with more recent critical developments, and linking to the pertinent posts when helpful.

  1. This is easier to scout around. I wish I had seen your article on the candle heater earlier–I ordered one! My sewing room is in a small outbuilding (used to be called a mother-in-law cottage) and it doesn’t have enough power to run a heater (and we can’t find an electrician to do an electrical upgrade, which would be pretty darned expensive anyway). This would also be good for Bob’s small greenhouse.
