I went to my first weaving club meeting on Saturday.

It was interesting – and did two things for my motivations: (1) Got me very interested in the 4-harness weaving book that Ann lent me; and (2) I signed up to cover tablet weaving for the June off-loom weaving survey meeting.

So I read about half the book, yesterday, while knitting on the French Market bag (not on the Open Projects list…I know, I know, but it’s a stash buster) and determined that I’m going to be weaving a First Project Scarf.  (Sigh – we have zero uses for scarves.  I’ll have to figure out something else to do with it.  Or give it away.)  I think I’ll use Gems for the yarn.  But NO STARTING NEW PROJECTS (buying new materials) until I get more out of the way!
