Met Angus (who played bagpipes, carried a sack of various recorders, and spoke wistfully of finding other musicians in Phoenix Glade), sat with Jeannie (sp?) and Keena, and played figure-out-the-strange-tent with Gefn. My wheel was a big hit as usual, and one teacher brought her entire geography class to hear my spiel about different sorts of fibers having to be spun differently, and how drop spindles work versus flyer wheels or chakra wheels (They’re studying Ghandi, who advocated home spinning of cotton).
